Google recently announced a new program called My Business that aims to help business owners manage their business listing, which eventually help build their online presence and relationship with customers.

How to access Google My Business?
If you are a Google+ user, you will be directly taken to new Google My Business. In case, if you are new to it, you need to sign up with Google My Business website.
After logging, you will see a blue button “Get on Google”, which will take you to the world map, where you can find your business.
If you are not a local business owner, you need to change the specified area by clicking the option in the upper right corner, which will help you to get started with a Storefront, Service Area or Brand Page on Google+.
In case, you can’t find your business on the map and you need to add it. Click on “None of these matches” option and you will see a page where you need to fill the details like physical address and the type of business.
After submitting the info, Google will search if the listing is already present and if not, then you would need to choose “Keep my information” option.
Then you will be asked to confirm whether you agree to the terms or not, if yes then click the confirm button and get started with your Google+ Page and business account.
A verification code will be sent to you to your mailing address you need to verify it;otherwise, you won’t be able to make any edits in your listing in future.
